On Saturday, June 26, 2010, Archimandrite Zacchaeus, Dean celebrated the monthly Divine Liturgy completely in the English language at St Catherine the Great Martyr Church. Concelebrating with Father Zacchaeus was visiting Deacon Dmitry.
Following the service, Archimandrite Zacchaeus bid farewell to choir member and faithful parishioner John Stepanchuk, who is completing his diplomatic service at the US Embassy in Moscow and therefore leaving Russia and St Catherine the Great Martyr Church. Father Zacchaeus thanked Mr Stepanchuk for his generosity to the parish during his time in Moscow and especially for the help towards the production of a Compact Disc containing Hymns of the Orthodox Church sung by the parish choir in English and Church Slavonic.
As is the custom following the Divine Liturgy in English, the clergy and parishioners all shared in a common meal at a local café where they had the opportunity to interact with one another in an informal setting.
Later that day, there were two baptisms at the parish, one served by – Archimandrite Zacchaeus and Priest John Kechkin, second - Archpriest Vadim Leonov.
