News | 18-01-08 Eve of Theophany Liturgy celebrated at St. Catherine the Great Martyr Church

On Friday, January, 18, 2008, Archimandrite Zacchaeus, Dean, together with Priests Vadim Leonov and Daniel Lugovoi, parish clerics and visiting Archpriest Vladimir Mokrenko concelebrated the Great Vespers and Divine Liturgy of St. Basil the Great on the eve of the Feast of the Baptism of Our Lord – Holy Theophany – at St. Catherine the Great Martyr Church.

Following the celebration of the Divine Liturgy, the clergy and faithful processed to the house chapel of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker where they celebrated the first Great Blessing of Water. Afterwards, Archimandrite Zacchaeus blessed the parish chancery offices with the newly sanctified water.
