On Sunday evening, November 15, 2009, Archimandrite Zacchaeus, Dean of St. Catherine the Great Martyr Church participated in the opening of an exhibition of works of art by Mr. Feodor Usachev and his wife Olga at the Gallery “Krylatskoe Ornament.” Feodor Usachev, together with his family has been long-time parishioners of St. Catherine the Great Martyr Church and recently was married to his wife, Olga at the parish.
At the beginning of the opening ceremony, Archimandrite Zacchaeus offered words of congratulations to the young artist and his wife and stated that their works of art reflect the spiritual values that they hold dear to them and that their sincere and active Christian Faith is clearly an inspiration to much of their work.
Among the many beautiful works of art displayed at the exhibition is a water-color of St. Catherine the Great Martyr Church by Feodor Usachev. Likewise, his wife Olga has many paintings and water-colors also on display at this exhibition which will be open until November 27, 2009 at ul. Krylatskoe Kholmy, d. 26.
