Archimandrite Zacchaeus, along with Representatives of the Local Autocephalous Churches and clergy from the Moscow area joined His Eminence, Metropolitan SERGEI, the Chancellor of the Russian Orthodox Church for the festal Divine Liturgy in Uspensky Sobor (Dormition Cathedral) in Moscow's Kremlin.
This celebration was held in honor of the feast day of Ss. Cyril and Methodius the teachers of the Slavs. Following the Divine Liturgy hundreds of clergy and thousands of faithful believers joined in procession from the Kremlin to the memorial of Ss. Cyril and Methodius on Slavonic Square in the center of Moscow, where a moleben was held. This feast was one of the many celebrations held in conjunction with the city's celebration of "Slavonic days of culture and language".
