| 23-06-07 Feast of the Finding of the Relics of St. Basil of Ryazan and the Synaxis of All Saints of Ryazan
On Saturday, June 23, 2007, by invitation of His Eminence, Archbishop PAVEL of Ryazan and Kasimov, Archimandrite Zacchaeus, Representative of the Orthodox Church in America to the Moscow Patriarchate concelebrated the Festal Divine Liturgy for the Feast of the Finding of the Relics of St. Basil of Ryazan and the Synaxis of All Saints of Ryazan. The Hierarchical Liturgy, led by Archbishop PAVEL was celebrated in the Dormition Cathedral – the Main Cathedral in the Ryazan Kremlin.
Following the Hierarchical Divine Liturgy, Archbishop PAVEL and the concelebrating clergy served a moleben before the relics of the Saints of Ryazan and celebrated a cross procession around the Ryazan Kremlin. After the conclusion of the service, Archbishop PAVEL presented Archimandrite Zacchaeus with an icon of the Synaxis of All Saints of Ryazan and a book about their lives. In turn, Archimandrite Zacchaeus presented the Archbishop with a book entitled “Holy Places of Russia Abroad.”
