On Wednesday, December 6, 2006, prior to the beginning of the All Night Vigil for the Patronal Feast of St. Catherine the Great Martyr the Official Act of Transfer was signed by the Director of the Grabar Art Restoration Institute and the Dean of St. Catherine the Great Martyr Church, marking the final transfer of property from the Institute to the Parish.
Also participating in the signing, together with Archimandrite Zacchaeus, Dean and Mr. Alexei P. Vladimirov, Director, was Ms. Tatiana Kalashinkova, Director of the State-run organization of the Office of Historic and Cultural Monuments of Moscow.
The following day, at the conclusion of the Hierarchical Divine Liturgy for the Feast of the Great Martyr Catherine, the festal ceremony of the transfer of the keys to the building took place, thus adding to the joy of all those gathered.
