On Tuesday, December 22, 2009, with the blessing of His Beatitude, Metropolitan JONAH of All America and Canada, the Locum Tenens of the Diocese of the Midwest, the first Memorial Divine Liturgy was celebrated for the newly departed and ever-memorable Archbishop JOB at Chicago’s Holy Trinity Cathedral. This first Liturgy was concelebrated with the Chancellor of the Diocese of the Midwest, Archpriest John Zdinak together with the Archbishop’s secretary, Protodeacon Joseph Matusiak.
Following the Divine Liturgy, Archimandrite Zacchaeus, the Archbishop’s spiritual son, former Archdeacon, and Secretary celebrated a panikhida together with Protodeacon Joseph where they fervently entreated God to grant rest eternal and blessed repose to the soul of the great hierarch of God’s Holy Church, the newly departed Archbishop JOB of Chicago and the Midwest.
Memory eternal to Archbishop JOB!
