| 15-10-05 Fourth International St. Innocent Readings held in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatski
On Saturday, October 15, 2005, Archimandrite Zacchaeus, Representative of the Orthodox Church in America to the Moscow Patriarchate participated in the Fourth International St. Innocent Readings held in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatski where he presented a paper entitled, “St. Innocent (Veniaminov) and the Church in America.”
This conference was held in conjunction with the celebration of 300 Years of Orthodoxy in Kamchatka, where it was St. Innocent, the Apostle to America who began his missionary activities there, prior to traveling to Alaska. The celebrations were led by His Eminence, Metropolitan KLIMENT, Chancellor of the Russian Orthodox Church.
