On Tuesday, July 4, 2006, His Beatitude, the Most Blessed HERMAN, Archbishop of Washington and New York, Metropolitan of All America and Canada, together with Archimandrite Zacchaeus, His Beatitude’s Representative in Moscow, and Archdeacon Alexei Klimichev attended a reception at Spaso House – the Official Residence of the Ambassador of the United States of America to the Russian Federation.

Towards the conclusion of the 4th of July Reception, His Beatitude was able to offer words of gratitude to the Ambassador for his continuous moral support of St. Catherine the Great Martyr Church – the Representation of the Orthodox Church in America and the initiatives of the Dean, Archimandrite Zacchaeus, especially in regard to hosting events such as the memorial service for the innocent victims of the terrorist attack on the United States of America held annually on September 11.
