On Thursday afternoon, March 15, 2007, an interview about the contemporary life of the Saint Catherine the Great Martyr Church as well as the history of the Russian Orthodox Mission in Alaska and the Autocephalous Orthodox Church in America was recorded for Russian television station “Stolitsa” at the parish.
The television station “Stolitsa” which airs on Russian channel 10 hosts a weekly program entitled “Moscow – Myths and Legends” will begin a series of broadcasts focusing on various Orthodox parishes in the city. The program’s reporter, Priest Valery Stepanov interviewed the Dean of St. Catherine Church and Moscow Representative of the Orthodox Church in America, Archimandrite Zacchaeus for a broadcast which will be aired from March 26-30 twice daily at 18:50 and 6:40.
